Kaunis Iron Adjusts Operations According to Plan
Kaunis Iron is planning an adjustment of its operations in line with the expected decrease in waste rock production at the Tapuli mine starting in the second half of 2025. This follows the company’s mining and production plan and entails a transition to lower levels of waste rock production until the deposit is depleted. As a result, approximately 30 to 40 positions, primarily within the IF Metall workers' collective, will become redundant.
